Gaining Status

If you are a frequent traveler, you know the benefits of traveling with status. If you are not a frequent traveler, but would like to be, you must read on...

I am always asked HOW I have the opportunity to travel so often, and it is not because we have a lot of money, not even close, it's because we know how to work the systems.

You start by choosing an airline and hotel that you will swear by, and always use rather than going on the travel sites like Kayak, Expedia, Book.com, etc. and just book the cheapest flight possible. I always travel on Delta and always stay at Marriott properties. Once you choose your hotel and / or airline, get a credit card to start racking in the points. When you open a Delta American Express credit card, they start by giving you around 30,000 points which is about half of ticket to a place like Costa Rica. Every dollar spent on the card is earned as a mile for your next trip. Totally worth it. You will be surprised how fast this adds up. The same goes with your hotel chain by opening a credit card. Just for opening a Marriott credit card you are receive a free night stay anywhere in the world. WORTH IT!

In addition to earning free tickets and free rooms, there are other perks that you may not realize. For example, getting bumped to first class, boarding the plane early, room upgrades, Delta Sky Lounge, Concierge Lounges, free food, free alcohol, WIFI, and so much more.

More tips and tricks to come.
