OMG! I'm 30...

I'm not going to lie and pretend I didn't have a hard time accepting the fact I was turning 30. Like many, I've been cursed with thoughts and ideas of where I assumed I would be and what I would have accomplished by time I hit this milestone. The truth is, I've always been in a rush to "grow up"; to have money, a great job, a fancy house and "success" (whatever that may be). I don't know what it is I am ultimately searching for but I sure as hell hope I find it.

While seeking advice for 30 year olds, I stumbled on this beautifully written blog post by Mark Manson that shares advice and perspectives from those who have survived their 30's. Take a look at it here:  https://markmanson.net/10-life-lessons-excel-30s

A recommendation from a contributor of the blog post that spoke to me was:
“Be a little selfish and do something for yourself every day, something different once a month and something spectacular every year.” (Nancy, 60)

Do you have any advice for a 30 year old? If so, please share.

Cheers to a new decade and the endless opportunities that lie ahead.
